I had watched NOW on our local PBS television station (it's shown on Sundays in many places throughout the U.S.), but like almost all (or many) shows and programs produced and televised on PBS, they provide many classroom materials and resources for teachers to use. If you go to http://www.pbs.org you can find many different kinds of shows that cover not only current topics but also arts, culture, history, politics, etc. The website is high quality, with fairly easy navigation and additional resources sometimes not seen on television. Most materials are reliable and authoritative too--a much better online resources than Wikipedia (even though that has its role to play sometimes).
